Your Shot photographer Gabe Brodowy visited Glacier National Park in the off season, which allowed him space and time to set up this ethereal shot. “I saw a glimpse of this frosty peak through the rising cloud inversion, but by the time my lens cap was off it had vanished,” he remembers. “Watching the clouds silently flow through the valley was almost as amazing as when the peak finally returned.”

A cuttlefish glides through the waters off the coast of New South Wales, Australia. “I just love the way they move,” says Your Shot photographer Skye Migan, “like little underwater UFOs.” Cuttlefish, despite their name, are mollusks, and are related to squids.
